A team of eight employees from Vanarama ditched four wheels in favour of two to raise over £1,500 for the British Heart Foundation
Eight intrepid employees from vehicle leasing company, Vanarama, were amongst the 27,000 cyclists who saddled up for the British Heart Foundation, riding from London to Brighton and raise funds to help in the fight against heart disease.
The team, headed up by the company’s Brand Director, Steve Mark, had been training together in the local Chiltern Hills for weeks.
It took eight hours for the all the Vanarama riders to complete the course, and despite the hard cycling Team Vanarama remain upbeat, and even have their sights set on a new challenge: “Once we were over the Beacon, the ride down into Brighton and along the front was amazing. It was such a great atmosphere and the fact that we raised such a lot of cash for the British Heart Foundation makes suffering from a sore backside worthwhile!” says Steve.
